I went to a family for a week. The guy keeping the house, washing car, etc, was from Turkmenistan. His wife came to visit him for a month or so. One day i was talking to her and she told me about their daughter and all. So I was like since she's about to graduate from high school, can we keep in touch so I can help her got a scholarship here. She was happy and all but she was concerned about something. That when she told me it's really hard for them to communicate like they don't have WhatsApp and all, they only have things like imo or something. She also told me about some surprising facts about their country. I found it hard to believe

All of these social media 'people' don't show you the truth because the truth is people actually live there and live normal lives. They raise children, go to school, go to work, go shopping for their groceries, have their days off etc etc just like literally everywhere else. If you actually go there you will see that these representations are absolute garbage, there are people everywhere.
